This is the most horrible vacuum I have ever used and trust me, I've had over 50 years to use many vacuums.
I rescue animals. I have 8 pets living in my house. 2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 parrots and a rabbit.
You can only imagine how much cleaning and vacuuming I need to do on a daily basis in order to keep up.
Since I have animals, I have rugs that I can easily wash in the washing machine. I have 5x7 rugs as well as 8x10's throughout the house. Since they are washable, they are thin so I can't use a traditional upright vacuum on them. The rugs get sucked up even if I don't have the brush attachment going.
I bought a cheap stick vacuum but the canister is so small on it, I have to empty it every 5 minutes just about.
The cord is also short so I had to use an extension cord with it which became a nuisance.
Since the stick vacuum did not have a hose, I also need an upright vacuum with a hose so I can get into corners and under furniture.
I did my research for months before I decided to order the Homeika vacuum. I guess I didn't do enough research.
Every time I use this vacuum, it gets clogged. EVERY SINGLE TIME.
I spend more time trying to clean it than I do actually using it.
And should we talk about how to clean it? How is the hepa filter suppose to be cleaned? I have to use a thin brush to get all the dust and dirt that is stuck to the filter because there's no way to clean it.
I can't use this vaccum in the bird area. It doesn't pick up.
Although I can use them on the rugs, even on high, it doesn't pick up much. Maybe that's the reason I can use them on the rugs?
This vacuum works minimally on my hardwood floors. It picks up but not everything.
One of the biggest regrets I have is buying this vacuum. Unfortunately, I'm past the 30 days so I can't return it if I wanted to so now I'm stuck with this useless piece of you know what and it's not like I can go out and purchase another vacuum. Any disposable money the hubs and I have goes to medical bills for my husband's treatments. I had to work extra hours at work and take on side jobs for a few extra bucks so I can afford this vacuum. You may think $100 isn't a lot but when you have a sick husband and rescue animals that depend on you, $100 is a lot of money. I guess it's a good thing I didn't put flour or rice on the floor to test how well this vacuum works. I would have been in for a big surprise.
I'm sorry but I do not recommend this vacuum. As a matter of fact, I suggest you run. Do more research and don't waste your money. Trust me.
I don't have any pets, but if you do I believe it work since the vaccuum is great at handling hair
Pros:
Extremely lightweight and maneuverable. I can't stress this enough. I love that it's rechargeable and cordless also, makes doing a quick sweep of the kitchen a breeze!
Recharges quickly
Charge lasts a decent amount of time, certainly long enough for a quick tidy-up.
Cons:
The only real con I have is that the vacuum could be a bit stronger, and I would use it more. I have another heavy regular vacuum that handles most of the carpets in the house, and while I could use this one to replace that every once in awhile, the more expensive vacuum does a better job on carpet.
I'd make one design change, though. Put the charging indicator lights in the front so when it's hanging on the wall mount you can see them.
La recomiendo 👌
Another welcomed inclusion were the attachments that the vacuum came with. Other vacuums, if you wanted extra attachments to get into those nooks and crannies, you’d have to splurge extra for those. Not this guy. He comes with an extendable brush head (great for those with pets) and one thin head perfect for getting into tight spots or between the couch cushions. The main attachment also extends and retracts significantly which helps get into those more challenging spots.
The battery life has room for improvement. Because I live in a 1200sq ft 2-bedroom apartment, I’m able to do both rooms, both bathrooms, the living room, hallway, and the kitchen. This takes me roughly 20-25 minutes, alternating between the different power levels (of which there are 3). After that, the battery is either fully depleted or about to die.
Charge time is OK. I don’t find myself using it until it’s fully charged again anyways.
It’s easy to empty the garbage from it, easy to remove the filter and give it a wash (make sure to let dry completely before reinstalling it).
Also, it brings a wall mount! (See attached pic). Great for keeping it easily accessible and off of the floor.
This thing is a serious no-brainer with competitors being hundreds of dollars more expensive and most times having worse performance than this Homeika.
Wish I had listened to my wife sooner. And believe me when I don’t say that often. 😅
She's powerful, she runs smooth, lightweight, and fairly quiet! It's not whisper quiet on the fastest setting, but it's not gonna disrupt a WFH conference.
I also love that I can use this as a hardwood vacuum too. I now do a general vacuum of the apartment at least every other day and my floors have never felt cleaner.
I also like the interchangeable heads because there able to reach the small nooks that the traditional vacuum head can't reach. Just don't press too hard on the brush head when you use the bristle extention because it'll retract and could wear down the mechanism over time.
Lastly, I like this bundle in particular because of the ergonomic stand that holds the vacuum and all of the interchangeable heads. It's easy to mount and they provide clear instructions of installation. Very useful to me as I'm not very savvy in that sort of thing, but this was pretty easy.
You will not be disappointed with this purchase!!
Homeika after sales customer service reached out to me in regards to the issues I had with my defective vacuum. Even after processing my return they still contacted me to apologize and offer a solution. Not many companies will reach out after the fact. With this event I am changing my review to 5 stars based on the after sales customer support I received. It was a very nice surprise!
Product worked great for about a month. The roller brush attachment failed. Followed the support information on the vendors website to troubleshoot. Made sure no tangles/clogs and it never worked again. Unfortunately had to return.
I have never returned anything to/through Amazon. The return process was quick and easy.
The battery last long enough for what I need. Not sure for a house full of carpet. On the lowest suction mode it does fairly well on bare hardwood, but with as much dog hair as I have.... I would have to do several passes to clean the floor. On the area rugs.... I normally need to adjust the suction to the highest level to get the dog hair up out of the rug. It is a little bit of a pain to empty the canister when full because you have to remove the battery first (if it is FULL). I would then have to precisely adjust the vacuum against something to keep it from falling over as the vacuum can not stand on it's own. This vacuum meets the needs I have.
I will update this review after I have used it a little longer.
The only reason, I gave this four stars is because I'm yet to see how long the battery lasts. I'm hopeful!
I LOVE this vacuum! Plain and simple. I had open heart surgery in March 2023 and bought my first one because it was pink and I could handle it post-op. There is one thing I would exclude as an “accessory “ , and that is a tool to unclog the stem. I have a golden, and a lab, and a long haired Chihuahua. They love to bring in twigs and leaves and anything else they can stash, drop, or share all over the house. So mine does get clogged and I’m ok with that. My problem is I don’t have much I can push into the stick and dislodge the clog.
Also can I say I shall soon be purchasing the grooming vac as well,, did I mention I have a golden, and a lab, AND a long haired Chihuahua???
Thank you for a well priced quality item.

I was not so sure how well it would work on my area carpets; especially with dog hair but was pleasantly surprised how well it did. Also love how easy it is for me to get underneath tables, couches and chairs.
I have a pretty large area to keep clean and the battery life is sufficient for what I need to get done. Battery life is reduced if I focus most of the time on the area carpets but I have found it still has enough charge to get it done. I suppose over time the battery life may be shortened but I have no problem doing one area and if need be charging it back up for another area.
Regardless of this minor challenges I doubt I will ever go back to a corded vacuum. I still have one and I can always pull it out if I want a deep clean to the main area carpet. For daily use to keep the dog hair at bay this is perfect.
Also love the accessories that it comes with and especially love the telescoping shaft for extended reach. I would highly recommend this product.
